Sam, the Red Flour Beetle (2020-2022), was a two-year project documenting my adoption of a lab beetle as a companion animal during the Covid lockdowns in Leeds. The project took the form of creative writing, installation, and performance and has been exhibited across England. The inflatable sculpture of Sam has been featured as one of the ten most loved things in the 2023 Summer Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Arts by Timeout Magazine. > Click to check out <
